European associations of war children1 formed in October 2007 a European Network meeting annually in Berlin.
After its meeting in 2009 the European Network decided on presenting itself as BOW i.n. on a trilingual homepage.

1. By ‘child born of war’ we understand a person whose identity was corrupted as a consequence of war.
